Middletown NY – Dolson Avenue Medical chiropractor, Dr. Stephen Brune recently went to Ecuador (November 2016) and Cambodia (January 2017) to provide chiropractic services to people who are in need but could not afford the treatment cost. Dr. Brune was joined by a physical therapist, pharmacist and radiologist among others, as they treated people in poverty stricken areas and remote locations where medical services are scarce. They also handed out supplies such as canes and eyeglasses to those who needed them.

“The people we help don’t have pensions, so they keep on working, for the rest of their lives. That’s why we do the best we can to treat their aches and pains. I’m glad that a lot of them responded well with the treatments.” said Dr. Brune who saw over a hundred chiropractic patients.

Also, Dr. Brune learned to fly a plane, and received his pilot license last year. “I can use my pilot’s license to fly back and forth and go eat at a restaurant, but it’s not really making much of an impact,” according to Dr. Brune. He says that he wants to use this newly acquired skill to help with humanitarian efforts, specifically disaster relief.
