Dr. Cabatu holds medical licenses in both New York and New Jersey; he has been working in the Middletown office for over 14 years. He is Workers’ Compensation Board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and enjoys seeing the positive changes in his patients.

Doctor of Chiropractic Jeff Spina, who independently owns and operates ChiroCare,  has been practicing in Middletown since 1985. He was trained at Life Chiropractic College and has helped people with all types of conditions, from back pain to neck pain, headaches to sciatica.

Dr. Spina is a member of the Middletown YMCA and president of the Salvation Army Board of Directors. In his free time, he enjoys skiing and hiking.

Dr. Stephen Brune

Dr. Stephen Brune

Dr. Stephen Brune, a Board-Certified chiropractor for 10 years who has been working in Middletown for over four years, was introduced to chiropractic care in high school when he was treated for an injury. He saw the success of chiropractic as a healing art, and he decided to take it up as a profession. 

After graduating from State University of New York at New Paltz, Dr. Brune went on to study at New York Chiropractic College, from which he graduated in 1998. He enjoys a number of activities in his spare time, including golfing, painting, and playing drums and guitar. 

Dr. Brune has been volunteering on medical missions, traveling to underdeveloped countries to treat people who cannot afford basic health care services.

Tracy Parrino

Tracy Parrino

Dr. Tracy Parrino, who works in Middletown now for four years, has developed a unique ability to communicate with her patients and understand their concerns. She addresses their health conditions with a caring and compassionate approach.

Dr. Parrino is a 1997 graduate of Life Chiropractic University in Atlanta Georgia. In 1998, she opened her own practice in New York City and practiced there for seven years. She then practiced in Goshen, N.Y. before joining ChiroCare.

Dr. David Spina, who has been a practicing chiropractor for 22 years, has been working in Middletown for five years. He enjoys working with his patients and has an innate desire to help and serve people. 

Dr. Spina graduated from Life Chiropractic College in Atlanta, Ga. in 1991 and for several years practiced in Liberty, N.Y. with his father, a chiropractor for 50 years. In his spare time, Dr. Spina enjoys motorcycle riding.

Howard Past, DC

Dr. Howard Past, DC

Dr. Howard Past has recently joined the team at Dolson Avenue Medical to provide his expertise in treating trauma cases, as well as chronic and difficult spinal injuries. Dr. Past has been a practicing Chiropractor since 1985, after graduating cum laude from Texas Chiropractic College.

Dr. Past has worked side-by-side with other interventional pain management specialists in surgical centers throughout the tri-state area and has helped patients who have not responded to traditional care.

Dr. Past has two daughters who live in Manhattan and are attending Columbia University. He enjoys tennis and skiing, and enjoys a good movie.

A New York State licensed and insured massage therapist, Nicole has been practicing massage therapy for almost 5 years, but says she has been doing massage even as a child – from massaging her great grandmother when she’s not feeling well, to massaging her high school track team before every race.

Registered Physical Therapist Lea Robles, who has been working in Middletown for five years, enjoys taking care of her patients. Richard Villanoza has been practicing physical therapy since 2003, the last four of which have been in Middletown. In 2006 he began working on orthopedic cases with a specialization in the knee and shoulder.

Registered Physical therapist Cecille Mary, who has been working in Middletown  for three years, has worked on a variety of neurologic, geriatric and orthopedic cases through a series of rotations in both in-patient and out-patient settings. Cheryl Escano

Cheryl Escano

Cheryl Escano, a registered physical therapist, has been in the Middletown area  for  four years. She has worked extensively with patients requiring medial meniscus and ACL repairs; in many cases she has been able to bring patients back to full functionality without pain or limitations. 

A graduate of St. Jude College in Manila, Cheryl is highly trained in trigger point therapy and soft tissue mobilization.
